Volcano boarding

Current temperature 32C (Edmonton -16C)
Started the day off with a 45 minute truck ride to one of the many volcanos in Nicaragua. When we got to the volcano it was massive! We got all our gear and started the hike. It took us about 45 minutes to get up the volcano and the views were beautiful! We checked out the crater for a few minutes and you could see smoke coming up from the crater and if you dug into the ash even just an inch it was burning hot and would burn you. When we were done taking pictures at the top of the volcano, one by one we bombed down the volcano on our boards! It only took about a minute to get down but was worth the hike! Out of the extreme team I scored the fastest speed of 53 km/h but the overall group was in the 70s! We all had a celebration beer when we got back to the truck and enjoyed the rest of the day hanging at the hostel.
